Technical call

Written assessment
For anything involving an existing system, a short written document: what the architecture is, where the risk sits, and a recommended order of work. Fixed price, and yours to keep or hand to someone else.
Scope and terms
Scope, monthly commitment, rate and IP terms agreed in writing before work begins. Your repository, your infrastructure, your accounts.
Build and support
Weekly demos against a visible board. After go-live, support continues with the same person — there is no handover to a desk that has not read the code.

Have you actually built a learning platform, or just worked near one?
Built one. A corporate training platform covering curriculum creation, assessment authoring, course progress tracking, and playback of both SCORM packages and WebGL simulation content. It was delivered inside an employment engagement rather than as an independent client project, so the client is not named here and there is no public URL to show.
Why is SCORM playback the hard part?
Because the package talks back. A SCORM module runs in its own frame and reports progress, score and completion through a runtime API that your platform has to implement correctly — including what happens when a learner closes the tab mid-attempt, loses connection, or resumes days later. Get that wrong and the courseware looks fine while your completion data is quietly false.
Can you deliver WebGL or simulation content?
Yes. WebGL builds are large, load slowly and behave differently across browsers, so the work is mostly delivery and lifecycle: serving the build efficiently, handling the load sequence, and wiring the simulation's own progress events back into learner tracking rather than treating it as an opaque embed.
Do you build authoring tools for the course content itself?
Structure yes, authoring no. Curriculum, modules, assessments and question banks are all things I have built. A full rich authoring studio that competes with Articulate or Rise is a product in its own right, and you would be better served buying one and having me integrate its SCORM output.
Can you integrate with an LMS we already have?
Usually. If it exposes an API or speaks SCORM/xAPI, content delivery and progress reporting can be wired to it. If it is a closed hosted platform with no integration surface, the honest answer is often that you are constrained by that vendor and no amount of engineering on my side changes it.
